The process to request, obtain, and install new certificates is very complex and time consuming mostly be our teams are reliant on other VA teams (AITC and NSOC), our certificate vendor (IdenTrust), and each of our HISP partners. Each of these organizations have processes which take time—there are no shortcuts with security certs. [Your team] was extremely persistent in making sure each step of the process took as little time as possible to make what could have been, and has been previously, weeks of work into a few days. As of midnight last night, the new certs were in place and many of our partners had already installed them. Our high-volume partners were quickly up and sharing messages and the remaining ones will be up soon.
